Dr. Nicolas Chrestian completed his training in adult neurology at Université Laval, then continued his training in pediatric neurology at McGill University. He completed his clinical fellowship in pediatric neuromuscular disorders under the supervision of Drs. Jiri Vajsar, James Dowling, Hans Katzberg and Grace Yoon at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. He returned to Quebec City as a member of the pediatric neurology team, with a subspecialty in neuromuscular disorders and neurogenetics. He is Head of the Department of Neuropediatrics at CHUL and a specialist in neuromuscular disorders at CMES du CHU de Québec-Université Laval, working on new phenotypic presentations of neurogenetic diseases.
