A speech-language pathologist by training, her work focuses primarily on improving the care provided to people living with neurocognitive language disorders, such as primary progressive aphasia, and to their families. She is particularly interested in developing ecological measures of intervention effectiveness and integrating technology. She is also involved in research aimed at improving communication accessibility to promote the inclusion and social participation of people living with acquired language disorders.
