An occupational therapist by training, her research interests focus on the assessment and management of visual and perceptual disorders secondary to stroke, as well as their interactions with motor functions and social participation. The work carried out in her laboratory aims to optimize the assessment and management of these deficits in order to support the establishment of a continuum of care between acute care and specialized rehabilitation services. The projects in her research program are part of a clinical and translational approach, including the development and validation of clinically relevant assessment tools, the study of the impact of visual and perceptual disorders on motor recovery, and the development of innovative rehabilitation interventions.
