An audiologist by training, his research focuses on the effects of industrial noise on the inner ear and auditory nerve, as well as the repercussions of occupational deafness among affected workers. He is also interested in the impact of environmental noise on the health and quality of life of communities. His work aims to better understand the pathophysiological mechanisms related to noise exposure and to develop innovative technologies and new approaches to better prevent noise-induced hearing loss and improve the care of affected workers.
