This laboratory is equipped with devices for the analysis of motor skills and mobility using kinematics (Vicon cameras), kinetics (AMTI/Bertec ground force platforms, instrumented chair, stairs with instrumented handrails) and muscular activity (Delsys electromyography system) during static and dynamic tasks. It also has virtual reality equipment (headsets and high-performance computers) to simulate different environmental factors. Various data collection and analysis software (e.g. Motion Monitor) and game engines (e.g., UnReal) make it possible to synchronize data from different laboratory equipment and offer real-time feedback on complex biomechanical variables.
