Keven Lee, O.T., Ph.D.

Emerging researcher

  • Assistant Professor, Faculty of medicine, Occupational Therapy Program

keven.lee@fmed.ulaval.ca

With a background in dance and occupational therapy, his research lies at the intersection of art, health—particularly mental and relational health—and anthropology. He is particularly interested in understanding the ethical dimensions of moving together, whether in predictable or unpredictable ways. In recent years, this interest in how individuals navigate and share space has led him to explore how care is structured in various contexts, including informal caregiving and dementia, community intervention and migration, as well as suicide prevention in 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities. In addition to the ethics of collective movement, he also hopes to develop, over the next few years, a research program focusing on issues related to public health policies in rural and remote contexts, as well as the aging of marginalized populations.
